All the staff are so friendly food is unbelievable both tapas and the roast I eat here regularly and never had a bad meal kids are so welcome also which is so nice and there are plenty of games outside on a safe grass area where you can enjoy and drink and still have the children With you highly recommend!

Had our first meal at the Golden Pot for ages last week and had been wanting to try their tapas fusion menu. It was amazing! We chose five dishes between the two of us which was ample and each one so delicious and different. The roasted aubergine stuffed with beef and lamb was particularly my favourite although slightly too salty for my husband. So refreshing to find a pub serving up different food with amazing flavours. Will definitely return very soon! Highly recommended.

We ordered a bunch of tapas, and they looked amazing! The pork belly was definitely the best. But, honestly, everything was a bit too salty. We're still excited to go back and try their Sunday roast carvery though.

We were welcomed by very friendly staff and the chef doing the carvery was a happy guy, calming out generous portions of meat, the first car been to where the Turkey was cut nice and thick instead of those stupid thin slices you get normally. Also the stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon was a lovely addition. Will definitely be going again and I recommended it to friends and family.

Food was tasty, and served in good portion sizes. Parking is a little difficult as it seems restricted to the front of the pub only, and the initial service was a little hit and miss but we will definitely be returning, as the food was worth it.

A hidden little gem if I could give more than 5 stars I would. The pub was very cosy and welcoming . The Food was incredible There were 30 choices so we couldn't try everything but the dishes we chose were amazing.
The waiter was lovely and very friendly and funny. Will definitely be going back when I'm in the area. It's unusual to find a pub that has tapas. The only negative was that the carpark was too small not enough spaces.

Highly Recommended, lots of choice on the menu, something for everyone and it all tasted great! Highly recommend the Stake Skewers. The staff were friendly, attentive and did not rush us, so you can take your time and enjoy a few tapas dishes with
some well kept beers! If you have not tried it since the re-opening it's worth a visit.

"The Pot is Back!"
This used to be our local and we've been going there for the last 14 years. It was always a place that served good food and drink and was somewhere you'd almost certainly bump into friends from the village if you popped in spontaneously. Over the last 4 or 5 years that had dropped off but with Glen and his team - on the evidence of our 3 visits this week - it has returned to it's former glory and looks set to thrive again.
There's a very nice selection of tapas during the week and we had an excellent carvery yesterday. My wife and I can't remember the last time we had a roast that good! Thanks Glen.

Just had the Sunday roast carvery. It's under new ownership, only opened this week and it was amazing. With a choice of 4 meats and wide variety veg, lots of different accompaniments you really feel spoilt The roast potatoes are crispy and Yorkshire puddings are perfect. The staff are friendly and attentive and the pub had a lovely atmosphere, very cosy🤩 They are a tapas bar on Monday -Saturday, carvery on a Sunday. We can't wait to come back to try the tapas!

We showed up here ten minutes after the kitchen closed.
The staff cooked for us anyway.
We got a sharing seafood platter, plus garlic mushrooms.
Absolutley amazing food.
2 of us couldnt finish it.
40 quid for food that left us stuffed, a large glass of wine and a pint is a bargain in my book.

The place looks a little run down from the outside but once inside you are met with friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and a comprehensive menu. We had the fish and chips and the smoked haddock fish cakes and skinny fries both of which were delicious.
